Faces of Canada
A mini adventure inside The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Faces of Canada takes guests on a culinary journey around Canada's regions. From tasting Prairie-style roast Alberta beef and maritime specialties, to swigging moonshine and walking among native totem poles, the event features themed decor and varied cuisine so guests will feel they have a true taste of Canada.
Spirit of the North
The west coast Native Indian potlatch is the theme for the Spirit of the North event. The traditional potlatch was a gathering of tribes for a great feast and celebration, recreated here with rustic decor and hearty cuisine. During dinner, the First Nations Dancers will perform in traditional costume and offer a unique glance into the ways of their ancestors.
The Tropical Island Retreat
The Tropical Island Retreat whisks guests to a room reminiscent of a tropical island, with the sounds of exotic wildlife filling the air. The entertainment for this event can be arranged to guest's preferences.
A Magical Night
Imagine holding your dinner function in the middle of a Cirque du Soleil-style performance, where magical characters and unbelievable acts evolve on your very own private stage. A Magical Night offers exactly that. Guests will be amazed as performers float from the ceiling, and between your tables acrobats perform outstanding feats and stilt walkers pace around the room.
Winter Wonderland
In this winter-themed event, guests can order a drink at a bar made entirely of ice, dine at tables decorated with ice sculptures, and enjoy beautiful harp music and arias from well-known operas. Guests will also be able to dance to a live band once dinner has been completed, or even turn the room into a giant ice rink if so desired!
