Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) caters for most major international airlines. It is five miles from The Fairmont Washington, D.C.
Driving Directions
- Exit the airport to the north
- Follow the signs to Memorial Bridge
- Cross Memorial Bridge and stay in the left lane
- Take the first "legal" left turn onto 23rd Street (it is not marked as 23rd Street, but there is a turn lane)
- Follow 23rd Street about one mile
- Turn left onto H Street
- Go one block and turn right onto 24th Street
- Continue on 24th Street, and after you cross M Street, the hotel entrance will be on the left

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 35 miles from The Fairmont Washington, D.C.
Driving Directions
- Take the Dulles Access Road to Route 66
- Take Route 66 East (Washington)
- Follow the road over the Roosevelt Bridge (you really don't have an option)
- Stay in the left lane of the bridge and follow the exit for E Street
- The freeway will end at 20th Street
- At 20th Street, make a left turn and follow to M Street
- Make a left on M Street
- Go four blocks and make a right onto 24th Street
- The hotel entrance will be on the left side of the street

- Take Route 95 South to Route 495 West (towards Silver Spring)
- This will put you on the Capital Beltway
- Take exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue South) for approximately eight miles
- When you reach M Street, make a right turn
- Continue almost eight blocks to 24th Street and make another right
- The hotel will be on the left side of the street

Metro
The nearest subway stop is Foggy Bottom. It is located four blocks from The Fairmont Washington, D.C. on the northwest corner of 23rd and I Streets.
Bus and Subway Tickets
Ticket machines are like vending machines, where you insert the money, which is shown on a screen, and then you press the minus sign until the right amount appears. It gives all change in coins, so smaller bills are recommended.

The Greyhound Bus Terminal is 20 minutes away.

- Cross Memorial Bridge and stay in the left lane
- Turn left onto 23rd Street and follow about one mile
- Turn left onto H Street, then right onto 24th Street
- After you cross over M Street, the hotel entrance and valet parking will be on the left
From the West:
- Take Route 66 East (Washington)
- Follow Route 66 West over the Roosevelt Bridge (you really don't have an option)
- Stay in the left lane of the bridge and follow the exit for E Street
