The Proper Proposal Package
The Proper Proposal takes place in the Lobby, adjacent to the hotel's courtyard garden. All pre-arranged, the piano player begins playing the couple's favorite song. At that moment, the waiter brings the gentleman a knee pillow and presents a covered dish. The gentleman gets down on his knee as the waiter removes the cover on the dish, revealing an engagement ring surrounded by her favorite flowers. He proposes and, hopefully, she accepts. They pose for a photo and are then whisked away in a Rolls-Royce with a bottle of Taittinger champagne and an ounce of Tsar Nicoulai caviar for a moonlight tour of Washington's monuments. Afterwards, they retire to their suite on Fairmont Gold where they will find a framed photo of themselves, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a dozen roses. All meant to turn moments into memories.
