Airport Information

Edmonton International Airport
Edmonton International Airport (YEG) services all major international airlines and is a 45-minute drive from The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.

Driving Directions

• Take Calgary Trail North
• Turn right onto Saskatchewan Drive
• Then left onto 99th Street
• Cross the low-level bridge and go up MacDougall Hill
• The hotel is on the right; the driveway entrance is off Jasper Avenue

Edmonton City Center Airport
Edmonton City Center Airport is ten minutes from The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald and is a destination for small charters, private, and corporate flights.

Airport Shuttle
A Sky Shuttle from Edmonton International Airport runs every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. The cost is CAD 13.00 one way or CAD 20.00 return. For more information:

Buses and Trains
The Edmonton Transit System (ETS) public bus and Train System (LRT) are an easy way to move around the city. The train station is approximately 15 minutes away from The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.

• Hwy 2 turns into Calgary Trail
• Stay on Calgary Trail North. This turns into 103rd Street, which meets Saskatchewan Drive
• Turn right onto Saskatchewan Drive
• Turn left onto 99th Street and continue over the low-level bridge
• Turn right onto McDougall Hill. At the top of the hill turn right onto Jasper Avenue
• Turn right into the hotel driveway

Parking Information

Self or Valet Parking
Self or valet parking costs CAD 22.00 a day plus taxes, with in / out privileges, or up to four hours for a charge of CAD 11.00 plus taxes. Valet parking is at the front door of the hotel and self parking is located off Jasper Avenue. You can unload luggage at the front door and then follow the driveway to Jasper Avenue, take a right onto Jasper and then turn right into the parking lot.
