Calgary International Airport
Calgary International Airport (YYC) is the closest international airport to The Fairmont Banff Springs and is 90 miles (150 kilometers) from the hotel, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes by car. The airport is located 12.5 miles (20 kilometers) northeast of Calgary.

Local Transportation

Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus runs from The Fairmont Banff Springs to the town of Banff. Please note that the exact change is required for the bus and rates are:

• Adults: CAD 2.00
• Children 6 to 12 years: CAD 0.50
• Children 0 to 5 years: Free

The train station is a five-minute drive from The Fairmont Banff Springs.

National Parks
Visitors to any National Park in Canada need to pay a fee when entering.

Banff National Park Pass Rates:

• Adults (17 to 64 years): CAD 7.00 per day (CAD 45.00 annual pass)
• Seniors (65 and up): CAD 6.00 per day (CAD 38.00 annual pass)
• Children (6 to 16 years): CAD 3.50 per day (CAD 22.00 annual pass)
• Children (0 to 5 years): No charge
• Family / Group (up to seven people, regardless of age, arriving in a single vehicle at a national park together): CAD 14.00 per day (CAD 89.00 annual pass)
• If you are staying for seven days or more, the year-round pass is less expensive in the long run and can be used for all parks in Canada

If you are traveling by bus, the park fee is usually included in the bus fare.

Self Parking: CAD 19.00 + 7% GST per day
Valet Parking: CAD 26.00 + 7% GST per day
