La Gran Fiesta Mexicana (Mexican Themed Event)
A remarkably authentic Mexican town square provides the setting for La Gran Fiesta Mexicana, a themed buffet event that takes guests into the heart of Acapulco's history. Surrounding the square are buildings and structures that replicate the ornate Spanish colonial architecture of the 1500s, including a Mexican cantina, colonial bandstand and archway, and a 28-foot-high bell tower overlooking the Pacific.
In the evening, dramatic lighting, balloons, colored lights, sombreros, and other traditional decorations turn the square into a realm rich in the magic of Mexico. Waiting staff wear traditional Mexican outfits, and guests will find grills and fruit squashes in carts and barrows dispersed among the buffet tables.
